Do you need a ladder that allows you to work at different height levels? Are you interested in a ladder that enables you to access higher levels comfortably and safely? Combination ladders will be your best option due to the advantages they provide to professionals. This type of ladder is widely used in construction, masonry, and service sectors to reach the highest areas of facades, roofs, or installations. They are essential equipment in many businesses, factories, or warehouses due to their versatility, adapting to almost any situation and allowing professionals to perform temporary work at height comfortably, safely, and stably.
KTL-Ladders’ combination ladders allow professionals to work in scissor position –ascending and descending on one side of the ladder– support position –leaning against a wall or upper support point– or extended scissor position –available in the triple ladder model with a base from KTL-Ladders– with maximum safety, adapting to the needs of each task. Thanks to their design, in addition to folding completely and occupying very little space for storage, combination ladders are compact, making them easy to transport from one place to another quickly and effortlessly. These features make them commonly used in repair work or jobs where the worker needs to frequently move the ladder to complete their height work successfully.
How to transport ladders correctly
For a specific height job, professionals often need to transport their ladder, equipment, or tools from one place to another. To ensure that your combination ladder does not suffer any damage during transport, KTL-Ladders advises following these recommendations:
- For one person, only transport ladders with a maximum weight of 25 kg
- Transport the ladder folded, with locking devices secured and ropes tied
- Do not transport horizontally; do so with the front facing down
- If transporting the ladder in a vehicle, ensure it is properly placed and firmly secured in the cargo area
- After transport, place it carefully on the ground to avoid damage
Combination ladders from KTL-Ladders
In the KTL-Ladders industrial series catalogue, we offer our clients and users the double ladder with a base and the triple ladder with a base, two models of combination ladders featuring a ‘Lock System’ safety locking mechanism that prevents the ladder from accidentally opening or the upper section from unintentionally descending, ensuring the safety of the professional.
To offer greater stability during height work, these ladders feature safety straps to prevent opening and include non-slip rungs with anti-slip profiles that provide the worker with great security, preventing possible accidental falls. Additionally, our combination ladders incorporate an aluminium displacement system –triple in the case of the triple ladder with a base– built into the side rails to ensure greater durability.
All KTL-Ladders models meet the strictest requirements for certified quality and comply with the safety standards established in the European Standard EN 131, designed to support a maximum weight of 150 kg.
